AnnotationThe paper considers numerical simulation of the impact of an aluminum plate on a fixed aluminum plate. The calculation is performed for a one-dimensional elastic-plastic model in Lagrangian coordinates. The main parameters are velocity, pressure, specific volume, internal energy, and stress deviator components. The CABARET scheme is used for the solution. It is used to calculate the propagation of a shock wave, its reflection from the boundaries and changes in the stress state of the material. Based on the simulation results, the distributions of pressure, velocity, and stress at various points in time are analyzed.
