AnnotationThe paper discusses approaches for increasing the order of approximation of the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method on smooth solutions. A numerical solution of the problem of piston motion in a gas is presented, problems are shown when conjugating second and higher order methods in SPH with gas-solid wall boundary conditions.
