AnnotationThe paper presents a developed methodology for discrete spectral analysis of pulsed acoustic signals. The results of the spectral analysis of nanosecond acoustic pulses recorded during optoacoustic defectoscopy of polymer and composite samples are presented. The advantages of the proposed technique over the standard Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) method are demonstrated.
Keywordsoptoacoustics, discrete spectral analysis, wavelet filtering.
