| Annotation | The paper is devoted to numerical modeling of the process of occurrence and propagation of a one-dimensional detonation wave using the grid-free smoothed particle (SPH) method. As part of the study, an SPH approximation of the equations of gas dynamics was developed, which will be further supplemented by a model of chemical kinetics to describe the energy release in the reaction zone. The software implementation is implemented in C++. The model was tested on the classical problem of a plane detonation wave, and pressure, density, and velocity profiles were obtained. It is shown that with an optimal choice of the smoothing core and its parameters, the proposed approach reproduces the detonation front structure qualitatively and quantitatively correctly, demonstrating the advantages of mesh-free methods in modeling discontinuous flows. |
