AnnotationThe paper presents a study of the effectiveness of the OpenMP parallel technology for modeling of a non-stationary process in a catalyst layer. Chemical transformations are described in one stage. A mathematical model is a system of partial differential equations. Boundary conditions and initial data has been set for it. The computational algorithm is based on the finite volume method. An analysis of the acceleration obtained for a different number of flows is given.
