AnnotationThe article presents the basic principles of mathematical modeling of chemicaltechnological processes. Such models are based on the equations of material and heat balance and kinetic laws of chemical reactions. Special interest is in the catalytic processes such as reforming, cracking and isomerization. There are the model of heat and mass transfer in the «network of cracks - matrix» system and a model of a nonstationary process of oxidative regeneration as examples of the developed models. There are the description of methods for studying complex models: the analysis of kinetic models and the sensitivity analysis.
Keywordsmathematical modeling, numerical methods, chemical kinetics, differential equations, the inverse problem of chemical kinetics, the sensitivity analysis of parameters
